Carle Health offers Tuition Reimbursement to team members, allowing them to invest in their education and career.
Eligibility
- All staffing positions must work at least 20 hours per week to be eligible to participate in the Tuition Reimbursement program.
- Most staffing positions must also complete 6 months of employment before having the ability to submit for payout.
Reimbursement Amounts and Degrees
- Eligible team members can find their reimbursement amounts based on degree type by click here.
- Payout amounts differentiate based on degrees and employment status (hours worked).
How to Submit for Tuition Reimbursement
- Team members must submit final course grades within 30 days of the class end date.
- Documents for semester payout should be submitted at one time.
Requests for tuition assistance must be submitted in Workday. For more information on how to complete this in Workday, please review the Workday Team Member and Provider Training Resources page for training videos and reference materials on TruNorth.
Once this has been submitted, HR will review and submit the request to your one-up for approval. Once approved, your payment will be submitted to payroll, to be paid on the following paycheck.
Eligible Schools for Reimbursement
- Tuition Reimbursement is available for most accredited colleges and universities; however, schools may not be eligible if there are noted concerns regarding cost, student debt, graduation rates and retention.
- Schools may also be excluded due to critical feedback received from students and preceptors in the organization

Methodist College
The new Academic Investment Program will forgive tuition, book expenses and other fees for nursing programs at Methodist College, while providing students with employment opportunities at Carle Health upon graduation and/or licensure.
Public Service Loan Student Forgiveness
Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) is a program that allows qualifying federal student loans to be forgiven after 120 qualifying payments while working for a qualifying public service employer, such as Carle Health.
